Avendi Media is actively seeking a full-time WordPress developer with strong knowledge of PHP. Primary responsibilities will consist of working closely with our design and development teams to build websites (including custom feature development) in WordPress for a diverse range of clients in various industries.
The right candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented, deadline driven, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and willing to take on new responsibilities at a rapid pace.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· 1-3 years professional experience
· Strong knowledge of WordPress and PHP
· Strong knowledge of standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
· Basic knowledge of Object Oriented Programming techniques
· Knowledge of a JavaScript library (preferably jQuery), SQL, and XML or JSON is a plus
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
